Beef cubes in the video don't look like beef cubes neither, they are too light in color.
Maybe the meat cubes shown are veal cubes, and the beef stock is veal stock..
and maybe it's not stock but rather it's meat gravy made with milk or cream.
I don't eat or cook with veal so I'm just guessing, I don't know why the stock is so white neiter, but I would like to find out also.

I have to agree, make your own pastry, and carrots in this recipe would tend to give the filling a sweet taste.\r
The lamb shown by the way did not come from a lamb shank, lamb shank contains a large amount of gristle. \r
Trimmed lamb shoulder would be a better cut and I would increase the meat, simmer until tender then thicken and cool.\r
I would also use a double crust. The filling in this clip is a runny mess.

You'll Need:

1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup onion
1 egg
1/4 cup fine, dry bread crumbs
2 tablespoons parsley
Salt and pepper
2 cups mashed potatoes
Cheddar cheese, shredded

Procedures : Combine first 7 ingredients and press into a 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes.

Spoon off fat. Frost with mashed potatoes. Top with cheese. Return to oven for just a couple minutes to melt the cheese and heat the potatoes
