Barbecue Corn On The Cob

Grilling Corn On the Cob - Easy and Delicious

Описание:

Grilling corn on the cob is so darn easy, and delicious. Crunchy, sweet and smoky. This was the first grilling video I ever made back in 2007, so go easy on me! I would replace it but it is still one of my most popular.

RamblingsbyCat пишет: Can't wait to try this tonight. I do have one quick questions. At one point you said they had been on there for about 7-8 minutes, but didn't say the total cook time. Is there a proper cook time or signs to let you know it's cooked long enough?

Frizzied пишет: Wow corn looks great! Can't wait to try this method. What is the alarm for at 3:36? Only thing missing is your favorite beer grill side. :D

BBQMyWay пишет: @kidistight Thanks. This was my first video. Appreciate you stopping by nd commenting.

BBQMyWay пишет: Yes, I suppose that's the Cliff's Notes version.

azsako пишет: If anyone is interested, this method is great, just make sure it's yellow corn and not the white. Done it tons of times now and it's always a hit. It comes out so sweet and delicious that it doesnt need butter or salt.

AldoSchmedack пишет: Going to do this right now. No kidding, that's how I found it! Good method!

BBQMyWay пишет: Wow. Thanks for the BBQ lesson. I had no idea there was a difference.

Duh me.

Seriously dude...check out my main page and other videos before giving me a bbq/grilling lesson. I know the difference.

Bliggida пишет: Using the iPhone's "end of the world" ringtone as an alarm for grilling, always imparts a rather quick bee-line for the grill when sounding off. Just stopped in for a side to smoked cornish game hen on the Weber (...over the weekend). Thanks for the advice (again) and I'll be back with what came of it.

davetheboi пишет: What's the temperature of the grill when you grill the corn?

BBQMyWay пишет: I agree. Thanks for stopping by!

BBQMyWay пишет: Each grill is different. The lid closed speeds up the cooking process since the heat is trapped a bit and circulates around the food.

dbeezycentex пишет: holy fuckballs...that corn looks AWESOME! Its obvious his guy knows his stuff!

Eric Apollo пишет: What is the difference in leaving the grill open or closed. I see that you said it took 40 minutes with half the time closed. How do you decide open vs closed and what does that affect? I love your videos. I just started grilling and love that I can grill like a master by watching your videos.

BBQMyWay пишет: @TheMsdarkmetal Great question. This was literally the first video I did...not well done. Anyway...over medium heat...it is a good 30 to 40 minutes...the corn turns dark yellow and will wrinkly just slightly. It's a touch thing.

BBQMyWay пишет: Thanks for the kind compliment and glad it turned out well. Thanks for stopping by.

Daniel Vargas пишет: tried this and the corn was deliscious

BBQMyWay пишет: Hi Rob. It depends on the heat of the grill....this one was on medium to medium high. Total cooking time was 30 - 45 minutes I am guessing. I did this over direct heat. In actuality, indirect heat would be more effective.....without flaming of the husk.

Jermaine J пишет: NICE, I like that the irrigation system was going off, made it seem like the guy is down to earth at his home doing this as opposed to a cooking show. NICE video.

azsako пишет: @Fudala510 lol, not insulted. I'll remember that. Thanks. After re-reading my post i had to laugh, why would I have even posted that.

BBQMyWay пишет: @leopardskyline Cold or luke warm is fine.

BBQMyWay пишет: @katboo71 Please let me know how it turns out!

BBQMyWay пишет: The water soaking is to keep the outside leaves from burning...not to keep the corn moist. And the silks would be a pain to eat around.

AnimalBB86 пишет: LOL at that alarm sound when it caught on fire

BBQMyWay пишет: Not silly at all. Yes, I turned them frequently. Probably cooked them for 35 to 45 minutes.

BBQMyWay пишет: @emofreak333 It's purely a feel deal. I turn them every 4 to 5 minutes, and I keep going till they are done. Sorry I can't be more precise.

steakdogs пишет: Thanks I think I'll try it looks tasty. Just a little annoying to soak them for an hour but some things are worth the wait
