Crabmeat Loaf

Healthy Microwave Meatloaf (Recipe) レンジで5分!ヘルシーミートローフ (レシピ)

Описание:

This is my favorite healthy meatloaf! I always want to eat something really healthy that you don't have to care much about calories, so I came up with this idea.

Kanikama (imitation crab meat) makes it tasty, fluffy, and delicious :)

Great for bento, too ;D

*Microwave Cooking Safety

---------------------------------
Healthy Microwave Meatloaf

Difficulty: Easy
Time: 25min
Number of servings: 4

Necessary Equipment:
microwave
microwavable glass loaf pan

Ingredients:
1/4 cup panko (bread crumbs)
1 tbsp. milk

* 200g (7oz.) minced chicken breast
* 50g (1.7oz.) minced onion
* 1 small egg
* 1 tbsp. sake (or white wine)
* salt & black pepper

* 50g (1.7oz.) mixed vegetables
* 120g (4.2oz.) kanikama (imitation crab meat/crab sticks)
* 30g (1oz.) shredded pizza cheese

* 3 tbsp. ketchup
* 2 tbsp. sweet chili sauce
cooking oil

Directions:
1. With hands, tear kanikama (crab meat) into shreds.
2. In a large bowl, soak panko (bread crumbs) in milk. Add A and mix well with your hands. Add B and mix well with your hands.
3. Place 2 in a plastic wrap, place in a microwavable glass loaf pan, and wrap up securely.
4. Microwave for 5 minutes at 500 watts. *Depending on the heat of the microwave, cooking time may differ.
5. Remove from the pan and remove the plastic wrap, heat cooking oil in a pan, and cook until the surface is browned.
6. Mix C and make a sauce.
7. Slice the meatloaf and serve with the sauce!

It depends on what chemical ingredients your plastic dishes contain. There are actually studies which haven proven evidence that plastic may contain substances that lead to infertility and other health problems. I did not know about this untill I was happy enough to read about that in a scientific magazine. Use porcellain instead and you should be on a safer side.

You'll Need:

1 large block cream cheese
1 can crabmeat, drained
1 jar chili sauce
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced

Procedures : Place a block of cream cheese on a nice plate. Over this, pack drained crabmeat. Pour chili sauce over this (don't use all of the jar). Place paper towels around loaf to sop up extra liquid before serving.

Sprinkle parsley over chili sauce before serving with assorted crackers

Western Cedar Plank Salmon

Cedar Plank Salmon Recipe - The Best!

Описание:

This cedar plank salmon recipe is really easy and really awesome. We show you how to make it right down to the dill and garlic paste. Give it a try.

Ingredients
2 1/2 to 3 lbs. boneless salmon filet
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup fresh dill or 4 Tbs dry
3 to 4 cloves garlic
3/4 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
You'll Need:

1 fillet of fresh salmon (about 1/2 pound for each serving)
1 cedar plank (no more than 1/2 inch thick)

Procedures : Soak cedar plank thoroughly to prevent burning.

Place the salmon on the plank skin side down and season to taste (garlic salt, dill weed, and black pepper work well).

Place the plank with the salmon on a covered grill on low. You want the plank to smolder on the bottom and create smoke but not to flame up. The cover will retain the smoke and also prevent flame-up. It will take 30 to 45 minutes for a good size fillet of salmon. The plank will get hot enough to cook the salmon through. You do not need to turn the salmon. Enjoy the natural smoky flavors

4 limes, zested and juiced
4 green chile peppers, seeded and chopped
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 (2 inch) piece fresh ginger root, chopped

Skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes if wood)

You'll Need:

16 large dried cornhusks
2 red onions, peeled and cut into 3/8-inch slices
2 teaspoons olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
16 jumbo shrimp (about 1 lb), peeled and de-veined
Charred Chile Salsa (recipe below)
1 ripe Haas avocado, peeled, pitted and cut lengthwise into eighths
Cilantro sprigs for garnish
4 lime wedges for garnish

Procedures : In a large bowl, cover cornhusks with boiling water, set aside until pliable, about 1 hour. Prepare grill.

Insert wooden pick horizontally through each onion slice to secure for grilling. Brush with oil and season with salt and pepper. Grill onions, turning until lightly charred, about 5 minutes. Remove wooden picks.

Drain cornhusks and open flat. Overlap wide, flat ends if 2 cornhusks to make a boat-shape package. Repeat to make 8 packages. Divide onions among cornhusks and top each with shrimp and 2 tablespoons Charred Chile Salsa. Fold cornhusks edges firmly around filling and tie ends with kitchen string.

Place packages on grill. Cover and grill, without turning, until shrimp is opaque, 10 to 12 minutes. To serve, open each plate. Garnish with avocado, cilantro and lime wedges.

Serve with remaining salsa.

Makes 4 servings.

Charred Chile Salsa
1 ear corn, husked
1 red bell pepper
3 large ripe plum tomatoes
8 tomatillos, husked
4 garlic cloves, unpeeled
1/2 small white onion, peeled
1 teaspoon olive oil
3 dried New Mexico chiles
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro (no stems!)
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
2 teaspoons brown sugar
Salt and freshly ground black peppers to taste

Prepare a grill. Brush corn, bell pepper, tomatoes, tomatillos, garlic and onion with oil. Thread garlic on a metal skewer. Grill vegetables, turning until charred, 5 to 15 minutes.

Lightly grill chiles, turning often, about 1 minute. (Do not burn) When vegetables are cool enough to handle, peel, core and quarter bell pepper. Peel tomatoes and garlic. Core tomatillos. Stem and seed chiles. In a food processor, coarsely chop bell pepper and chiles. Add tomatoes, tomatillos, garlic, onion, cilantro, lime juice and brown sugar and coarsely chop. Transfer to a bowl. Cut kernels from corn and stir into salsa. Add salt and pepper.

Salsa will keep, covered, in a refrigerator up to 1 day.

Makes about 2 cups

Smoke-Barbecued Salmon

Smoked Salmon Recipe - How to Smoke Salmon

Описание:

Chef Jason Hill shows you how to make smoked salmon in this episode of "Chef Tips." This smoked salmon recipe is a "hot smoked salmon," made by smoking salmon over low heat on the Green Mountain Grills pellet grill (http://www.GreenMountainGrills.com).

To begin, make a dry brine for smoked salmon, which consists of dark brown sugar, a bit of salt, and some fresh cracked pepper. Smoke the salmon for around 2 hours, then brush with an apricot glaze or some honey. You can serve this as an appetizer with crackers and cream cheese. Jason is using the Green Mountain Grill pellet grill for this recipe.

Skewered Salmon

Salmon and Chicken Satays - Skewering and Grilling the Meat

Описание:

To view the next video in this series click: http://www.monkeysee.com/play/9880
You'll Need:

About 1 1/4 pound salmon steak
1/4 cup olive oil
Fresh juice of 1/2 lemon
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Procedures : Place four 8-inch wooden skewers in a shallow plate with water and let them soak 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, cut the salmon steaks into 1 1/2-inch cubes (remove skin and bone). Place in a bowl. Add olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, thyme, salt and pepper. Toss to coat (you may cover and chill the salmon at this point several hours or overnight).

Heat a charcoal or gas grill or broiler. Thread the salmon onto the damp skewers, covering exposed ends with aluminum foil if desired (the fish doesn't cook long enough to set the wood on fire, but the skewers will char). If the fish pieces are oblong, skewer through the shortest sides so the skewer goes through the piece lengthwise. Push the pieces together so they are touching. Cook the skewered fish about 6 inches from the heat for about 5 minutes or until it is cooked through (no need to turn the skewer). It should still be silky in the middle and not exactly flaky.

Serves 4.

Serve with rice and snow peas or other green vegetable
