SIMPLE CHUNKY Homemade Pineapple JAM Recipe (HOW TO) Bread Maker Breville Custom Loaf Pro BBM800

This video will show you how to make chunky pineapple jam (Mermelada de Piña) in a Bread maker Machine. In this video, I am using the Breville the Custom Loaf Pro BBM800 but you can use any other bread makers which have a jam setting.

I have also included in this video brief stages on how to peel and cut the pineapple. Make sure you use a ripe pineapple to maximise the flavor of the jam. (Pineapple could be replaced with strawberries, figs, etc)

Recipe: Simple chunky pineapple jam
Machine used: Breville the Custom Loaf Pro BBM800
Settings: Jam
Paddle: Fixed jam

Ingredients:
Fresh Ripe Pineapple pieces - 500gm
Sugar -- 1 + 2/3 cups
Jam Setta -- 1 + 1/2 tablespoons

Directions:
1. Peel and cut pineapple into chunky pieces (Depending on you chunkiness liking - For smooth consistency, blend the pineapple)
2. Measure all the ingredients in advance with measuring cups and measuring spoons.
3. Remove the bread pan and install the fix jam paddle.
3. Place and pile up all ingredients in same order (Pineapple, sugar and jam setta).
4. Wipe the outside of the pan to remove any spillage.
5. Return pan into the bread machine
6. Close the lid.
7. Choose settings (Jam) and press start
8. Wait for machine to finish all cycles and remove the pan from the bread machine.
9. Pour Jam into sterilise jars and refrigerate overnight. Enjoy.

You'll Need:

20 Rhodes Dinner rolls, thawed but still cold
1/2 cup jam (your favorite flavor)
2 tablespoons sliced almonds

Icing:
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 cup powdered sugar
1-2 tablespoons water
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Procedures : Flatten each roll into a 4-inch circle. Place a teaspoon of your favorite jam in the centers. Pinch edges of dough together to enclose filling. Place filled rolls in a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Sprinkle with almonds. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap. Let dough rise to the top of the pan. Do not let dough over rise. Remove wrap and bake at 350 F for 35-40 minutes. Cover with foil last 10 minutes of baking. Remove from pan immediately and place on cooling rack right side up. Combine icing ingredients and mix well. Drizzle icing over cooled loaf
