lynnsrecipes пишет: Thank you, so much! Actually you can crush up crackers if you wanted to for the topping or just use whatever breadcrumbs you have on hand. Just some crunch on top of the casserole is nice. I think either one would be great. I appreciate you watching. Have a great evening and terrific Sunday.

Patricia G.G. пишет: Lynn, this is so good. I like to cook broccoli Casserole with Bechamel Sauce or White Sauce, and in your recipe adding mayonnaise i think that it will be much better. Could i put on top bread crumbs instead of panko crumbs? What is this exactly?
Have a great saturday night Lynn,
Patricia.

lynnsrecipes пишет: Thank you! I hope you all enjoy it. We are trying to work harder on the sound and I am trying to speak up when it is further away. Sometimes, I don't always do it as well as I should, but I am trying to make a better effort. Let me know if it is still hard for you to hear. The feedback is good so we can continue to try to improve our videos. I hope you and your family have a great evening.

pmuldrow пишет: Great recipe, Lynn! My kids love broccoli casseroles, so I'll try this one for sure. We've talked about volume before, so I just want to add my comments about that too. It's great when it's a close up...I suppose the microphone is closer to you at that point? In this video, the time I have trouble hearing is when the camera is backed up away from you. Thanks again for a great recipe!

You'll Need:
3 heads broccoli, cut into florets
4 onions, quartered
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
8 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
Procedures : Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Place a steamer basket in a pot over boiling water, and steam the broccoli about 5 minutes, until tender. Place the onions in a separate pot with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil, and cook until tender. Arrange the broccoli and onions in the prepared dish.
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat, and stir in the flour until smooth. Blend in the milk until thickened. Blend in the cream cheese until melted. Pour the mixture over the broccoli and onions. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese, and top with bread crumbs.
Bake covered in the preheated oven 30 minutes. Remove cover, and continue baking 30 minutes, until lightly browned
