
How to make Cafe Frappe - Greek Iced Coffee (Cold Coffee)

Here I am making Greek Caffe Frappe with a dremel. I had one of those dremels made for this with batteries but never got this result, they were always weak. Look at the thick foam I am getting here. I used Nescafe Classic, 2 teaspoons of it, 2 teaspoon sugar (or to your liking), a tiny bit of water, mix, then add ice and fill up with water and stir by hand

Ξέρω, θα μπορούσε να έχει πέσει από τον πάγο στο ποτήρι και κορυφαίος αυτό μακριά με το γάλα. Αλλά φαίνεται καλό όχι? :-)

Also, you don't have to scoop out the coffee foam onto another glass, you can just drop the ice in that glass. The sugar was regular sugar. The key is the sugar, the speed, the frother (lots of bends/curls) AND very important is to start with very little liquid. Frappe is not a 'granita' or 'slush' drink. Success with yours

So is this an authentic Greek Frappe? I've seen so many different versions of it, isn't a frappe a blended/frozen coffee drink (not whole ice cubes)?

You'll Need:
White 1 egg
? cup cold water
? cup ground coffee
4 cups boiling water
1 cup sugar
Procedures : To prepare this Cafe Frappe Recipe, first beat white of egg slightly, add cold water, and mix with coffee; turn into scalded coffee-pot, add boiling water, and let boil one minute; place on back of range ten minutes; strain, add sugar, cool, and freeze to a mush, then fold in the whip obtained from cream. Serve in frappe glasses, with whipped cream, sweetened and flavored
