
Make Your Own: KFC Coleslaw

Although this is a copycat recipe, it is the best homemade coleslaw! In fact, it is the only kind of coleslaw I will eat! Tastes exactly like the real deal!
This is a Todd Wilbur recipe from one of his 'Top Secret Recipes' books. One of the few recipes of his that actually tastes like the real thing.
What you'll need:
1 medium head of cabbage
1 carrot
2 Tbsp minced fresh onion
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup buttermilk
2-1/2 Tbsp lemon juice
1-1/2 Tbsp vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
In a food processor or by hand, finely chop cabbage and carrot. Combine together in a large bowl. Set aside.
Combine rest of ingredients in a separate bowl until well mixed. Pour over cabbage and carrot mixture. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate at least overnight to let flavors meld and come together. Serve cold at your next barbeque! Enjoy!

100g white cabbage finely shredded
25g sultanas
1/4 tsp ground mustard
1 carrot grated
1 small onion finely cut
25g cadju or peanuts
