Today Mick from the Cast Iron Boys shows how easy it is to cook the Bushman's Corn Cob Damper from Happy Damper Gourmet.

Happy Camper Gourmet have always been innovative with their great tasting camping food. Now they have gone one step further and are launching a delicious Damper mix.

HINT: If beer is used let it sit for about 5 minutes before cooking as this will alow the yeast in the beer to help the damper Rise

The Bushman's Corn Cob Damper is so easy to prepare, even the kids can help make it!

Just add water (beer or soda water) to the dry mix, knead for 1 minute and bake in the camp or home oven for 20 to 30 minutes and its ready to serve up with dobs of butter and lashings of Drover's Beef 'n' Bean.

Remember when you had to take all the messy ingredients to make a damper while out bush? Well, now it's all in one pouch and ready to go.

You can also use the Bushman's Corn Cob Damper Mix to make delicious dumplings to go on top of our Cattlemen's Stew or what about a pizza base..... YUM!

You'll Need:

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 cup milk

Procedures : Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a large bowl, sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Stir in milk until a soft dough forms. Form into a round and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove loaf from oven, cut in half and continue baking for 10 more minutes. Place on a wire rack to cool before serving
