My father would open the tin and growl like a tiger LOL. With a beautiful buttery taste to it, it is far superior to our regular corn syrup, but yes to answer your question it will work 100% perfectly fine. Be happy you have such a beautiful syrup there, we pay big $ for that here. It is amazing stuff :-) Thank you for watching :-)

3 Golden syrup comes from the U.K. and is VERY much different than corn syrup in North America, Golden syrup is amazing, but it tastes nothing like the stuff you know as corn syrup.

You'll Need:

3 large , Eggs Slightly Beaten
1 cup(s) , Karo Light Corn Syrup
1 cup(s) , Sugar
2 tablespoon(s) , Butter Melted
1 teaspoon(s) , Vanilla
1 1/2 cup(s) , Pecan Halves
1 whole , Unbaked Pie Shell

Procedures : In a large bowl, stir first 5 ingredients until well blended.
Stir in pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake in 350 degree oven 50 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.
Cool
