Firecracker Burgers

4th of July "Firecracker Burger" Recipe

Описание:

You can buy a 22.5 Weber One Touch Gold grill, identical to the one I'm using in this video from Amazon.com by clicking this link http://amzn.to/1w9xgYd

A bodacious burger, that I conjured up in my mind, and man did it ever work out! I used 1 pound of ground beef per burger, and used 7" buns. I used the smoke onion mayo that I made for my sandwich entry into Ballictic BBQ's 2013 Video grilling contest (Awesome stuff) I used a delicious habanero cheese to melt on top of the burgers, and then crispy bacon, and the fried onions that I prepared, as well as a fantastic jalapeño sauce, that PitmasterX made, and sent to me from the Netherlands! Awesome awesome stuff! I also placed a few pickled jalapeñs on my burger as well. A spicy Firecracker Burger, that will leave you smiling and very full!

FitAnge S пишет: Oh boy now that's a magnificent burger if I do say so myself Russ! Those onions looked magic, and double jalapeños with that sauce and pickled jalapeños would make that burger pop! This is a drooling porn food burger LOL great stuff my friend :)

Smoky Ribs пишет: Well the biggest thing about pork, especially the loin area, is that it is very easy to dry out while cooking, so I would recommend doing a basic brine on the meat before grilling. You can make a brine using 1/2 cup of Kosher salt and 1/2 cup sugar, and 1 gallon of water. You need to dissolve the salt and sugar in a cup or two of warm water taken from the gallon of water. Then pour the cold water onto the meat first, and then add in the warm water with the salt and sugar. To be contiuned

Smoky Ribs пишет: Lol, yes it is!

Smoky Ribs пишет: Thanks Cynthia! Really good to hear from you! :D

Smoky Ribs пишет: Thanks! Sorry about the music. I use a lot of different genres in my music selections for these videos. I have used Zydeco, Cajun, Rock, Country and more, but not everyone is going to like what I choose, just like not everyone is going to like what I cook, but that's what makes us all different. Thanks for stopping by :)

Ellis Ingram пишет: Awesome burger. Thought I was watching ManCaveMeals at first when I heard the music, lol

Smoky Ribs пишет: Thanks, and those fried onions are really good! I've been making those for years, and I normally make a great horseradish dipping sauce for them. The burger was fantastic! I'm not as trim as you think I am, lol! I was actually pretty fit about a year ago, then I had to go off, and start a cooking channel, lol ;)
Thanks again,
Rus

michael landry пишет: those are some impressive man-patties! burgers are the best, I always enjoy a burger video Rus. thanks.

Smoky Ribs пишет: Did you see my comment to you at the very end? Lol! I know how much you like buttwipers ;)

Smoky Ribs пишет: As a side note, sweet goes good with pork. Sometimes I like to baste mine with pineapple juice and also set a small pan of juice in the bottom of the grill away from the coals to let steam into the meat. It's really up to your taste as to what goes on the meat, but I would highly recommend the brine to keep it from drying out, and internal temp tells the story as far as when to take it off. Hope this helps

Pitmaster X пишет: Glad you liked it Rus! That firecracker burger must have made one awesome 4th july meal, looks delisious

Smoky Ribs пишет: Thanks Kathy, I hope you and your family are well and had a nice day as well :)

Smoky Ribs пишет: Abita is a staple in my house. I'm gonna look for the other two you mentioned. Just seen the Dogfishhead on your video. Looks interesting! I'm not much of a wine drinker, but if it's a beer, then I'm in ;)

Smoky Ribs пишет: Thanks! Yeah, that is generic music that comes with these video editing programs, and they don't give you a lot to choose from, but it keeps the copyright police at bay anyway ;)

Smoky Ribs пишет: Yes they were, and I'm still stuffed like a Christmas turkey ;)

Smoky Ribs пишет: They come from the deli at Rouses in Biloxi. They make them there, and they were perfect for this. I spotted them a few weeks ago, and those huge buns is what got me to thinking about this 1 pound patties, lol

Tom's Test Kitchen пишет: Awesome looking burger there Rus, I thought you were going to need a shovel to flip them bad boys.

Smoky Ribs пишет: Thanks so much Lisa! Yeah, I think that would have been a contender in a burger contest for sure, because it sure was good! PitmasterX's jalapeño sauce is killer good! I'm going to use the rest of that very carefully as not to waste it on just anything.

keith bettag пишет: damn, that was one kicked up burger, no cayenne on the bacon, bun, or tomatoes, whats up wit that------i be all over this thing guy-----so many people jus dont know what cayenne can do to a dish, well done guy, well done----have a great weekend

Smoky Ribs пишет: Thanks Keith, and I hope you had a great 4th! Na, I thought I better tame the cayenne down a little bit for my wife, lol!

Smoky Ribs пишет: We can do that, but I want some of the Bacon Shell Tacos that you make! Awesome!

Smoky Ribs пишет: I didn't see the Lemon Harvest the last time I went to Rouses. Can't wait to see your stuffed chicken breast video!

Smoky Ribs пишет: The Bud was perfect with that bad boy burger! Heck, I should have named it that ;) Thanks!

Smoky Ribs пишет: Now put in the refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours. Now you are ready to grill the meat. You can use what ever seasoning you like at this point, and grill on indirect heat in a 350 degree grill. You really need a digital thermometer to check for internal temp. When you hit 150 degrees internal temp take the loins off and wrap in foil and let set for around 15 minutes. You can also put a BBQ sauce or any sauce you like on the loins as it is getting close to reaching the 150 degree temp.

Smoky Ribs пишет: Idle, I was so impressed when I took a bite! It was simply delicious, and the heat sneeks up on you, but really not so hot that you can't eat it. Just a nice kinda heat if you know what I mean :)

Slippery Chicken BBQ пишет: That looked like one awesome burger great video

Smoky Ribs пишет: Thanks Larry :)
