Makes-its-Crust Coconut Pie

Coconut Custard Pie - Makes its Own Crust!

Описание:

This pie is so simple to make...and it's delicious. If you love coconut, you've got to try it. You don't even have to know how to make pie crust..this pie will make its own! Although it's not crisp and flaky, it is a crust of sorts. I made it with ingredients I always have on hand. It baked perfectly in the sun oven, even though a couple of times the temp dipped below 325 degrees.

COCONUT CUSTARD PIE
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
1 12 ounce can evaporate milk
6 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/4 cup sweetened coconut

Mix all ingredients together. Pour into a greased, 8 - 9" pie plate. Bake at 325 degrees for about 40 minutes, or until the center is set. (Knife inserted into the center of the pie should come out clean.) Enjoy!

stillwaiting пишет: That looks delicious . Gotta try it. One question . I am looking at buying a solar oven . Any recommendations . Most of the ones I have looked at have major complaints from reviewers about a terrible plastic smell that never goes away . Have you experienced anything like that with your oven ?
