These PB & J Bars combine peanut butter, strawberry jam and crunchy peanuts in an easy to make treat. These delicious snack bars are perfect to throw together for your next picnic or cookout. Gluten free Bisquick makes it hassle free to throw this one together. But, for those now following a gluten free diet, I've included the regular instructions in the recipe notes.

Ingredients list
• 2 ½ cup gluten free Bisquick (see notes for regular instructions)
• 1 ½ cups creamy peanut butter
• ¾ cup softened butter
• 1 cup sugar
• ¾ cup brown sugar firmly
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 cups of strawberry preserves (or whatever flavor jam or jelly you like)
• 1 cup coarsely chopped salted peanuts

By then who would eat it?...lol My wife always thought that was funny and tried to send me off to work that way. But No Way, I want pasta or leftovers!...lol

You'll Need:
1-1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup butter or margarine, cold
1 egg, beaten
3/4 cup grape jelly
1-2/3 cups peanut butter chips, divided
Procedures : Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 9 inch square baking pan.
Stir together flour, sugar and baking powder, with pastry blender or fork,
cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add egg; blend
well. Reserve half of mixture; press remaining mixture onto bottom of
pan. Spread jelly evenly over crust. Sprinkle 1 cup peanut butter chips
over jelly. Stir together remaining crumb mixture with remaining 2/3 cup
chips; sprinkle over top. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars. Make about 16 bars
