Pork Chops with Ginger Sherry

Easy Pork Chop Recipe - Pork Chops In Balsamic Vinegar Glaze

Ingredients
4 bone in pork chops at room temperature
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 -inch ginger, peeled
3 garlic clove, peeled
1 sprig of fresh rosemary
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions
1.In a little chopper place ginger, 1 tablespoon olive oil, garlic and rosemary leaves and blitz them together.

2.Meanwhile, preheat frying pan with oil to medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and season them with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Fry them for 4 minutes per side or until they caramelize.

3.Add flavoured olive oil that you made earlier, balsamic vinegar and maple syrup to the pan. Cook them until the glaze reduces by 1/2. Flip the chops for 30 seconds and remove from the heat.

This is a cool video and the recipe sounds pretty darn good. I'm going to try it. Unfortunately, I only have dried ginger and rosemary and I'm too lazy right now to go get some fresh. Im going to give it a shot with the dry stuff just to get an idea of how this dish could taste. Fresh is definitely better though.

You'll Need:

1 garlic clove, finely chopped
1 tbsp vegetable oil
4 butterfly pork chops,
1 tbsp gingerroot, finely chopped

Procedures : Mix all ingredients except pork in shallow glass dish. Place pork in dish; turn to coat with marinade. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
Remove pork from marinade; reserve marinade. Cover and grill 4-5" from medium coals, 14-16 minutes, brushing occasionally with marinade and turning once, until no longer pink in center
