Magpie Birdie пишет: Hi Pyllis, I just bought some granny smiths about 8lbs cause I like to eat apples plain, anyway, they were very sour and I was wondering what to do with them! I am going to slice and freeze them and may try this recipe as well. I thought my grannys were golden delicous because they were in they same spot at the store. I've never froze apples before so am not looking forward to it. But I did manage to get back to the store and get the right kind of apples for eating plain. Lol Oh, I do subscribe!

Back then I used brown sugar and cinnamon and raisins. (I was a farmer's wife and didn't care a whit about a calorie. We served them with top cream.)
