RECIPE BELOW!!

Browning the ribs in the pot seals in the flavor of the smokysweet spice rub, then steam roasting cooks the ribs until the meat is falling off the bone. Glazing with barbeque sauce to finish adds an extra layer of flavor. There is an optional step I left out, Read below to see what it is. RECIPE BELOW

Here is the recipe.

PREP: 10 minutes • COOK: 1 hour, 40 minutes • SERVINGS: 4

Ingredients
1 tablespoon smoked paprika

1 tablespoon packed brown sugar

⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 rack pork baby back ribs (about 3 pounds), cut in half

Salt and ground black pepper

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

3 cups beef broth or water

½ cup barbeque sauce

Directions
Stir paprika, brown sugar, and cayenne pepper in bowl. Rub ribs with paprika mixture. Season with salt and black pepper.
Pour oil into pot. Set to STOVETOP HIGH and heat oil. Add half the ribs to pot. Cook uncovered 5 minutes or until browned on both sides. Remove ribs from pot. Repeat with remaining ribs. Remove ribs from pot.
Pour broth into pot. Place roasting rack into pot. Place ribs on rack. Set OVEN to 375˚F for 1 hour. Cover and cook until pork is fork-tender.

Optional: The Pork was cooked to well done in 1 hour. So if you're in a hurry to eat them, you can just apply the BBQ and eat. If you have the time this would probably makke the ribs a little more tender. Uncover pot and brush ribs with sauce. Set OVEN to 375˚F for 30 minutes. Cover and cook until sauce is hot.

Ada Rivas пишет: how about adding some wood chips into the ninja with the broth and maybe adding a lil liquid smoke I think that would give it that smoky rib flavor

elainemax2 пишет: Keep the Ninja recipes coming. I got one in a yard sale but don't have the book yet, plus I'd rather see the video, then cook it. Thanks so much.

mitch cox пишет: They are different, both very useful. The Nuwave is like a mini convection oven. so it does some things better than the Ninja. But we use the Ninja more for cooking meals. The Nuwave we use alot for reheating things instead of using the microwave.

mitch cox пишет: I recommend coating them with BBQ and tossing them on a hot grill afterwards. Get that good ol' grilled flavor and light charring of the sauce.

You'll Need:

Prepare a medium-hot fire, banking coals in 2 to 3 kettle-style grills. Place ribs, not overlapping, over indirect heat on each grill (rib racks may be helpful in expanding grilling space in each grill). Cover grills and roast ribs not directly over coals for 1 1/2 hours, until ribs are very tender. Remove ribs from grill, wrap securely in heavy aluminum foil. Place foil-wrapped ribs in brown paper bag, close bag and let ribs rest for up to 1 hour.

Spicy Fireworks Rub
1/2 cup ground cumin
1/2 cup chili powder
4 tablespoons ground coriander
2 tablespoons cayenne
4 tablespoons ground black pepper
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon salt

Procedures : Put all ingredients into a large jar with a tight-fitting lid. Place lid on jar and shake well until blended thoroughly. Makes 2 cups enough to coat 4 slabs of pork back ribs
