Supradrew пишет: So here ya go Chris. Now you can use your Garlic and your Tomatoes. Let me know how it works out. Have a great day. Drew

Supradrew пишет: It's so simple to make and SO SO good too. Just make sure the Tomatoes are HOT right out of the oven when you put them into the Food Processor with the Garlic. The heat from the Tomatoes will soften up the Garlic and impart the flavor into the sauce. Let me know how it works out. have a good day. Drew

Supradrew пишет: This recipe is for a basic sauce. Adding things is perfectly acceptable. Roasting those veggies to add to the sauce would work out great. Good Luck. -Drew

lottearr пишет: I have been itching to make my own tomato sauce for a long time. Would you also suggest roasting other vegetables (i.e. onions, garlic, peppers) to bring other flavors into it? And what would your suggestions be considering herbs such as basil and thyme in this recipe?

pinkcottoncandy0064 пишет: Oooooo this looks so very good. Always good to see what you have been up to in the kitchen!

rollinstoned0 пишет: WOW! now that is one recipe I really want to try. looks delicious! =)

Supradrew пишет: Hi Col. Glad you liked this one. The Romas can be cooled and added to the top of a Salad too. Or they can be the base of homemade Ketchup or BBQ sauce. Have a great day Col. Drew

GREGDIGGERMXT пишет: That looks so good. I got a bunch of tomatoes from the garden and can't wait to make some. Thanks Drew

Supradrew пишет: When you make it, be sure to add the Garlic to HOT Tomatoes. The Tomatoes have to be Hot so the Garlic will soften up. If the Tomatoes are cold the Garlic will be raw and crunchy. Good Luck Greg. Let me know how it turns out. Have a great day. Drew

NH treasurehunter пишет: MMMMMMMMMMMMM, that looks amazing Drew.... Do you grow your veggies or herbs at all? I'm doing a garden next spring (bought the house too late for this years crop.) and we're starting to collect seeds now. Mostly grocery store veggies that have seeds that usually only yield about 25% success but hey, we would have thrown them out. Cellery, green onion, bell pepper, pineapple and lemon so far. Thinking about doing videos on them but maybe a different channel. Later bro..

Supradrew пишет: I don't have anything growing this year. I just kinda lost track of time last spring. Life gets busy, lol. But in the past I've had full herb gardens and I grew Tomatoes, Peppers, Cucumbers, Onions, Carrots, Summer Squash, Zucchini, Pumpkins, Watermelons, ect. I think next year I'll do my Herb garden again. But the Veggies at my local Gourmet market are locally grow and top notch. And not too expensive either. Maybe I could talk my girlfriend into planting veggies next year. Thx Jay. ttyl Drew

Supradrew пишет: This is the most basic of sauces. From here we'll add things like Onions and peppers or Meat. This base sauce is so good on it's own too. Glad you like this one Stacy. Have a good day. Drew
You'll Need:

1 cup onion, finely chopped
Red pepper, to taste
1 cup parsley
Salt to taste
2 tbsp olive oil, or peanut oil
2 cup Burgundy wine
1 tbsp garlic; finely chopped
1 tbsp Soy sauce
4 cup fresh tomatoes, peeled and cut
5-8 oz. catfish fillets, lightly seasoned with salt and pepper.

Procedures : Place onions and parsley in oil and saute 3-5 minutes. Add garlic and then the rest of the ingredients except catfish fillets. Cook until the onions are translucent, about 10 minutes. On medium-hot grill place fillets, skin side up, for 3 minutes. Turn and cook 2 minutes more.
Place in aluminum foil "boat" or grill-safe pan on grill and top with sauce. Close top on grill and cook 10 minutes
