Butter Cake

How to Make Mrs Ng SK's Fluffy Butter Cake

Recipe: http://kitchentigress.blogspot.sg/201...
If I had to eat only one type of cake for the rest of my life, it would be butter cake. How good could a cake be made with nothing more than butter, sugar, flour, eggs, milk and vanilla extract? DAMN GOOD! A butter cake reminds you that a perfectly good cake doesn't need anything fancy. It just needs the right mix of ingredients, and the right method for putting them together.

So go buy your self a scale and learn how to do it the right way instead of the being relient on the simpleton way you are acustomed to. Now you have learned a valuable lesson and you are ready to bake with the big dogs, if not, then just stay on the porch.

They tried to get it to work here in the 70's and it went over like a lead balloon. On the side of every pyrex glass measure cup is the metric version. If you own a 1,2,and 4 cup measure you should be good to go with any metric recipe. :o)

i live in New Zealand and if asked to convert into American measurements would have to ask the same sort of thing.

Haha, I'm not even sure how to measure grams!! Great tutorial though, I may experiment with trying to match the measurements with my resources :) Looks delicious!

With bad spelling and grammar, your objection just sounds like mumble.

As 6 inch is 15,24 cm.
I bought a 24 by 24 cm is that also ok?
What do you think?
The cake would come flat wouldn't it if I used the 24 cm pan?

KitchenTigress K T пишет: "can you give the mesaurement in cups/tea spoon/ table spoon?"
Yes, but only if you explain how Americans measure cream cheese with a cup or spoon. I know there's no cream cheese in this recipe but this isn't the only recipe I post.
