THEY WERE ON POINT!!!.... def. a summertime food, im salivating just by remembering.

arxarts пишет: A nice twist on a Mexican classic! However, if you plop a few leaves of epazote in that boiling water you will get doubly delectable corn. Epazote is rather hard to come by in the States, and taste-wise is almost irreplaceable, but it really makes corn taste absolutely incredible.

Nairod2 пишет: this is not the MEXICAN WAY... try a little fire you don't even need the grills, leave the leaves on the corn, peal just the main outer leaves and place the whole corn in the fire once the big blames has gone and its about to extinguish... the corn leaves will trap the moisture and cook the corn slowly... once the outer leaves had burn or become super toasted your corn is ready... thats the real mexican way to make elotes asados... and you cant beat that flavor even if u only add some salt

The crops may not be perfect now, but they're a work in progress. Killing the technology now means stopping them from getting better. It's easy to complain about them when your plate is full every day. I don't care for monsanto, but grouping all genetic engineering with them is tragic.
