thedeliciouscook пишет: Sure, placing the dough in a warm spot helps it rise faster. However, if you are not in a rush, you can transfer it to the fridge and let it rise over night! I hope that helps! :)

thedeliciouscook пишет: They are like $300-$350 here in the US. If you cook or bake a lot, then I think a stand mixer is totally worth the money. I hope that helps!

thedeliciouscook пишет: Sure! If it is instant yeast, you can just add it directly to the other ingredients. However, be mindful of measurement as instant yeast is more concentrated and often has "extra" ingredients in it to make it "instant."

Annette McKay пишет: Wow, these taste great, I coloured my glaze light pink and added some musk essence... ummm let's just say there was almost a family fight for the last couple!! Delicious! Thanks for the recipe :)

thedeliciouscook пишет: Thank you! LOL!

thedeliciouscook пишет: Absolutely, if you don't have any vegetable shortening on hand substitute it with room temperature unsalted butter. I hope that helps! :)

thedeliciouscook пишет: Good question! You can totally use whole wheat flour, but just keep in mind that the donuts may result in a different texture and flavor. Let me know how they turn out! :)

thedeliciouscook пишет: Thank you!!!!

thedeliciouscook пишет: You are too kind! Thank you so much! I used to make these kind of things without a stand mixer when I first started out. So my answer is YES! It just takes a little more elbow grease and it's also a tad bit messier, but it can be done! Give it a try and let me know how they turn out! :)

thedeliciouscook пишет: You're welcome! :)

thedeliciouscook пишет: AWESOME!!!

JamesonPearl пишет: Thanks, I will try these. I really love your videos, I always learn something. That glaze recipe is one I have never seen before. Cheers!

thedeliciouscook пишет: That is a really good question! The whey protein in milk can weaken gluten and prevent the dough from rising properly. Therefore, scalding the milk deactivates the protein so the dough can rise properly! I know, it's very scientific! I hope that helps clarify this step! :)

thedeliciouscook пишет: It's all about moderation and a couple minutes at the gym! ;)

Dulce L. пишет: Thanks:) Can't way to try it out for myself

Liyah Nguyen пишет: Hey thanks so much for the recipe. It is sooooo delicious. This one is a keeper for sure. I kept it rising kind of longer than expected bc I have a newborn lol so couldnt fry them right away. Going to refrigerate thr leftovers for tomorrow. Letting them rise too long does it cause it not to puff as much?

thedeliciouscook пишет: Hahaha, thanks!

thedeliciouscook пишет: Absolutely! Just make you add the instant yeast to the dry ingredients and the donuts should turn out just as delicious!

You'll Need:

7 1/2 ounces refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
2 tablespoons melted margarine

Glaze
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 tablespoon margarine
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 to 2 tablespoons milk

Topping
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

Procedures : Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or coat with nonstick spray, set aside.

Open the can of biscuits and separate them into 10 biscuits. Cut each biscuit into 4 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball.

Dip the balls in the melted margarine. Roll the entire ball so it's well coated. Place on baking sheet( they don't spread much so they can be close together).

Bake for 6 to 7 minutes or until just beginning to become slightly brown. Remove from oven and cool.

In a small bowl, mix together the confectioners' sugar, margarine, vanilla extract and milk. Blending until smooth.

Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl, set aside.

Dip each cooled donut into the glaze. Roll some in the sugar/cinnamon mixture, leave some with glaze
