The fruit bowl bonanza cocktail exercises the use of a puree, which we made ahead of time. The purpose is to show you the stages to prepare for a party.

You can make your base product whenever you want--even freeze it for later. Than, before the party begins, build your larger fruit bowl quantities.

The recipe:
4 oz. Light Rum
2 oz. Dark Rum
1 oz. Orgeat Syrup
1 oz. Lime Juice
4-6 oz. Pureed Strawberry/mango/pear/pineapple juice

You'll Need:

1 cup orange juice
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 cup diced pineapple
Sugar
1 cup strawberries

Procedures : To prepare this Strawberry and Pineapple Cocktail Recipe, first combine the orange and lemon juice sweetened to taste, keeping the mixture rather tart. Place on ice. Wash and drain the strawberries and hull them. At serving time cut the berries into halves (except six large ones), mix them with the pineapple, place in glasses and cover with the fruit juice. One large, perfect berry set on a tiny circle of pineapple may decorate the top of each cocktail
