I like your recipes very much. They are easy to prepare keeping intact the authentic taste of each dish. Even traditional Maharashtrian recipes with small tips to maintain the taste are just awesome. I always like to cook at home but you inspired me to try variety of recipes. I tried the white pulav and entire family liked it. Thanks so much

I keep paneer frozen only but I don't keep it in water. You may freeze paneer in Ziplock bag with out using water and then just defrost it and use. (for defrosting just keep paneer in refrigerator for 6 hours, it works much better) I hope this will work with you. Thanks..

You'll Need:

2 cup Pearled Barley soaked in 4 C water overnite
1 cup Mushrooms optional
2/3 cup Zucchini sliced
1 x Onion chopped
3/4 cup Carrots sliced
1 tsp Thyme
1 tsp Sage
Salt And Pepper to taste

Procedures : * We had this for breakfast this am but you may prefer it for dinner or lunch.
* In the AM, cover, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 20 - 30 minutes.
* Makes enough for several meals.
* Obviously, use whatever veggies you prefer. I like to season it with vegetarian chicken flavor broth mix, but I am out. Add more broth and you have a great soup
