TROPICAL PINEAPPLE CHERRY CREAM CHEESE BALL

Fresh pineapple cored, drained & mixed with marachino cherries drained & minced with none of the juice. use as little or as much fruit as you like & add a couple of spoonsful of confectioners sugar to round out the tartness of the crean cheese & roll in finely mined nuts & VIOLA! Fancy gourmet cheese ball WITHOUT the fancy gourmet price.

You'll Need:

* 8-oz. package of light cream cheese, softened
* 4 oz. light tropical fruit cocktail, drained
* 1 c. walnuts, chopped

Utensils:

* knife (You'll need help from your adult assistant.)
* bowl

Procedures : 1. Cut tropical fruit into smaller pieces.
2. Combine softened cream cheese, fruit, and 1/2 c. walnuts.
3. Chill well in refrigerator.
4. Mold into a ball and roll cheese in remaining 1/2 c. of nuts
