Cooking Dry Aged Beef Steaks Over Coals. We're in Spain!
Описание:
How to enjoy aged beef slow-cooked over charcoals right in front of your eyes in Pamplona Spain. Here is a look at some of the best beef in the world. If you are ever in Pamplona be sure to go to this place. No steakhouse in the united states can compete! Notice how rare it is served.
I shared one of these steaks with my cousin and it weighed 1.46 kilos or 3 pounds. We could have gone for more.

eddieisfiction пишет: it actually doesnt really do that... with poultry it works better in the process of brine, however with beef, you want a more vinegar approach to it... They way they do it in spain, not so good in comparison with what Ive seen you do with beef correctly.

littleisland1700 пишет: @daniel1c I asked about the salt and apparently it is put on during cooking to keep the juices inside the meat. I don't know if or how it works, but they think the salt on the outside closes the meat. I think. Also there is absolutely no salt or pepper shakers on the tables. And they do NOT ask you how you would like it done, there is just one way of cooking it and that is very, very rare. I had to send mine back to be cooked more because the inside was raw.

sharpasaneraser пишет: Cross contamination...that effing hilarious. You don't know the first thing about food safety. Sea salt and salt are chemically the same. Salt is more processed (iodized) and has a different taste, texture and refinement. Get off your high horse.

Manuel Cantalapiedra пишет: They put salt on the top of the steak while the other side is cooked. That keep the moisture at the top. Turn the steak and repeat the process, and this is how you keep the moisture inside. I have seen a lot of videos of how American and English chefs make the steak and, for me, It´s a way to ruin a good steak.

You'll Need:
1 large round steak, cut into serving pieces
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
Flour
Shortening
1 can tomato soup
1 soup can water
1 large onion, cut into rings
1 large green bell pepper, cut into rings
1 small jar stuffed green olives, including juice
Procedures : Mix salt, pepper and flour. Dredge steak pieces in flour mixture, then brown in shortening. Put browned steak into a baking dish. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over the top of the steak. Cover tightly and bake at 325 degrees F for about 3 to 4 hours, or until meat cuts very easily with a fork.
This is great served with rice
